- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Income Support
- Working Tax Credit
- Child Tax Credit
- Pension Credit
This payment which you won't have to pay back will be tax-free. It will not count towards the benefit cap and will not have any impact on your existing benefit awards.
Disabled benefits claimants
If you are disabled and receiving non-means tested disability benefits, you will be given an extra one-off £150 Disability Cost of Living Allowance.
- Disability Living Allowance
- Personal Independence Payment
- Attendance Allowance
- Scottish Disability Benefits
- Armed Forces Independence Payment
- Constant Attendance Allowance
- War Pension Mobility Supplement
Details on how these payments will be made will be finalised but for now they will be in two lump sums in July and the autum.
If you receive Housing Benefit only but not any means tested benefits
People who get Housing Benefit risk losing out on the £650 one-off payment given to all other means-tested benefit claimants. The Govt will extend the Household Support Fund that provides households with payments to help with essentials delivered by local authorities from October.
